In June 2025, the Chernivtsi Association ‘Zahyst’ celebrates its 14th anniversary!

For 14 years, we have been:

▪️defended the right to be heard,

▪️changed spaces and approaches to inclusion,

▪️supported those seeking a new path,

▪️united people around shared values,

▪️been unafraid to talk about difficult issues — from barriers to discrimination.

Over the years, we have become more than just an NGO. We are a team, a community, a voice, a support system. And we are inspired every day to see how small actions can lead to big changes.

We thank everyone who has been with us from the very beginning, everyone who is walking this path with us, all our Ukrainian and international partners. Together, we are building an inclusive democratic society — close, open, with faith in dignity and equality.

And we celebrate — because we have something to remember and something to strive for!

In the foreground, a woman is helping another woman in a wheelchair to navigate a section of deep gravel and broken concrete.
