In the Vyzhnytsia community, in the village of Milieve, we have established and successfully run a mental health club.
The main idea of the club is to create a space for support, recovery, and lively communication for community residents. As part of its activities, the club regularly holds restorative events, such as Nordic walking, which are attended by people of all ages: children, adults, and seniors.
These meetings are an opportunity to get out of the house, be among people, feel a sense of belonging and emotional stability — so that people are not left alone with their experiences.
The mental health club is about care, preventing emotional exhaustion, and forming healthy habits that support people in their daily lives.
We create a space where mental health care is accessible to everyone!
The project is implemented by the Chernivtsi Association “Zahyst” with the support of the UK Government as part of the "Social Protection for Inclusion, Resilience, Innovation and Transformation (SPIRIT), implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine, the Social Protection Fund for Persons with Disabilities, and UNICEF Ukraine, administered by ISAR Unity.
