We have begun and continue to actively work in the Vyzhnytsia community, particularly in the village of Milieve, where we provide necessary social services to community residents.
This is an important step for us, as we strive to expand access to quality social services in villages where support is most needed.
We are now providing the village residents with a social service called “resilience” — comprehensive support aimed at strengthening emotional well-being, developing important skills, and increasing each person's ability to feel confident in the modern world.
As part of this service, we are already implementing several important activities aimed at community development and strengthening the internal resources of its residents:
🔹 a mental support club for older people, where they can share their experiences, receive professional support, and find new resources for themselves;
🔹 Digital literacy training for all village residents — we help them master the digital tools necessary for everyday life and protect their personal data from fraud on social networks;
🔹 Training in barrier-free communication for teachers and assistants. We believe that school should be a space open to all children. That is why we conduct training aimed at developing barrier-free communication skills, understanding the needs of children with disabilities and SEN, and creating an educational environment where every student can reach their potential without barriers.
We would like to thank the Milievsky Support Lyceum for its openness to cooperation and desire to improve the educational process at its educational institution.
We are grateful to the community for its trust and cooperation, and we continue to work to ensure that everyone feels supported and has access to quality social services!
The project is being implemented by the Chernivtsi Association “Zahyst” with the support of the UK Government
within the framework of the “Social Protection for Inclusion, Resilience, Innovation, and Transformation (SPIRIT)” project, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine, the Social Protection Fund for Persons with Disabilities, and UNICEF Ukraine, administered by ISAR Unity.
